It features four levels of static correction plus a tone-only mode ideal for the initial training phase. A low battery indicator alerts you when the readily available RFA-67 battery (typically lasting 1-2 months) needs replacing. You can also cleverly use the boundary wire to create internal 'keep-out' zones around garden beds, swimming pools, or play equipment within the main boundary. Added protection comes from the included surge protector, safeguarding the transmitter from electrical spikes.
