Shield aids in the control of synthetic pyrethroid susceptible nuisance flies and biting insects and an aid in the control of Queensland itch on horses.

As a unique pour-on for horses, Shield not only repels flies, it lasts longer than sprays and is also easier to apply.

Simply pour it along the backline as per the directions.

Shield controls the following biting insects:

Domestic & Bush Flies
Stable Fly
Biting Midges
Buffalo Fly
Mosquitoes

For the control of Queensland Itch, treatment should start at the beginning of the season by applying once weekly (or more frequently as required no more than twice weekly).

A few horses, particularly those of the fine-skinned Arab type, may react when treated with shield for the first time. In these cases, a small patch test is recommended as per the directions.

The efficacy of shield may be influenced by rain and activities such as rugging, brushing or washing.

Shipping Details

Parcels are delivered usually between 3-7 business days after ordering depending on location. Pet Station tries to ensure that all products are delivered in a prompt and timely manner. However, from time to time, it is possible that shipping and other factors outside of our control may result in delays.

Pet Station reserves the right not to ship to remote or rural locations. If you are located in a remote or rural area & you place an order we will contact you to try work out a solution for you, we may be able to deliver your parcel to a town near you. If we are unable to find a solution you will be issued with a full refund.

Change of Mind:

Pet Station will accept any new and unused purchase returned within 30-days of purchase for a refund or exchange (excluding freight charges) Any goods returned for a refund or exchange must be in the original packaging and in a saleable condition, accompanied by the original invoice number, date of purchase and reason for return.

If you received a damaged shipment, product and/or faulty item, please send through photos of the damaged item(s) and include your invoice number and name, and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
