Ibuprofen Pain Reliever Temporarily relieves minor aches and pains due to: headache, muscular aches, minor pain of arthritis, toothache, backache, the common cold, menstrual cramps. Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body. Temporarily reduces fever.
