The grinder's ceramic conical burrs are rust resistant, encourage grind uniformity, and will remain sharp for years. The Porlex Tall II hand grinder still comes with the durable and long lasting stainless steel body, grinds cup, lid, and handle; With the inner burr, inner burr insert with spring and outer burr, completely being redesigned with over 12 months of R&D, with upgraded materials for the interior housing.

The Inside components have been improved for better particle size distribution. This includes more reliable grind adjustments of 16 clicks grind change per rotation (around 37 microns between clicks) and allows you to easily switch back and forth between settings for french press, espresso, and everything in between. Additionally with a new claw-foot shape to the body you can rest the grinder upright when the grinds cup is removed.

Basic Grind Setting Guide:

• Extra Fine (Turkish) = 1 - 2 clicks
• Fine (Espresso) = 3 - 4
• Medium-Fine (Fine-Medium?) = 5 - 6
• Medium (Filter) = 7 - 8
• Medium-Coarse = 9 - 10
• Coarse (French Press) = 11 - 12

It's slim and light enough to fit into any bag - no matter how light you pack - and dispels static so you don't always have old grounds in the lower chamber. The grinding arm is improved for more comfortable grinding and the hopper has a capacity of 40g.
