Keeping with this tradition has resulted in a user friendly, small and exceptionally robust coffee grinder, suitable grinding from espresso to french press.
The Rancilio Rocky grinder offers the very best of grinding solutions to the home espresso and coffee connoisseur. Using 50mm flat burrs backed by the commercial caliber 140W motor, the blades will spin at 1400rpm making quick and quiet work of the daily grind.
Easy of use is where you'll find this grinder helpful for those morning brews. Turning on from right & grind on from the left. You can make use of the portafilter rest for hands free grinding, this can easily be removed if grinding into a cup or filter option is preferred. Hold down the thumb switch and slide the dial for grind size adjustment anywhere between zero and fifty-five.

Quality Motor - A small grinder that uses a big motor. The Rocky uses the same motor found in their commercial MD40 grinder.
Quiet, Powerful and Safe - Should the grinding mechanism jam or become overheated, a thermal protection device shuts it down to prevent damage to the motor or the grinding mechanisms.
55 Grind Settings - Uncomplicated setting changes is a big benefit in any grinder. Rocky make this look easy. Zero being fine and Fifty-five being coarse.
Portafilter Rest - Make use of the portafilter rest and grind straight in to your basket. Hands free.

In order to give you peace of mind when shopping with us we offer a hassle free returns and exchange policy so you can return any purchased item within 14 days from the date of your order. We can provide an Alternative Brewing store credit, refund or exchange for another item, where the returned item is subject to the following conditions:
The item is returned within 14 days from the date of your order.
Presents 'as new' in appearance, is unused and shows no signs of use, wear and tear or damage. We cannot accept a return for items that have been used.
Be packaged in its original undamaged packaging with all product tickets and tags.
The item's original packaging is not marked or used as the outer layer of packaging for transport. Please ensure you do not attach anything to the outside of the original packaging.
Alternative Brewing is not responsible for any freight charges on returned items unless the item(s) being returned have arrived damaged or faulty in which case we will send a pre-paid return label to send the item back.
Items being returned must include a copy of the receipt/invoice for the order.
We do not accept returns on any machines, electrical parts, special order items, gift cards, apparel, books, posters and DVDs. So please choose wisely.
Items returned with a value >$400 will be eligible for a store credit or exchange only.
All returns must be authorised by Alternative Brewing before sending the item back to us. Please contact one of our friendly Alternative Brewing Team Members for instructions to get the ball rolling and start the return process.
