Upgrades to a Legendary Budget Espresso Machine
Rancilio have added further protection to the entire frame and steam wand moving way from painted iron and brass to a more resilient stainless steel construction.With a 300ml Brass boiler, offering an unusual level of thermal ability it's ample power for a light-medium home use. The boiler is backed up by a 2L water tank that keeps you from frequently having to refill between coffees.
The 3-way solenoid valve, which makes cleaning out the portafilter a breeze, is the same one they put in commercial machines, completely cutting off the water supply post-brewing eliminating those extra drips.Three thermostats offer an extra layer of protection by continuously monitoring the espresso, steam, and boiler temperatures-dramatically reducing the risk of overheating.
Pulling Shots With The Rancilio Silvia V6
The machine features an angled commercial grade 58mm portafilter and tamper, the same one's you'd find used in cafes, so you can learn exactly what it feels like to pull shots as a barista. The 8g and 16g baskets enable you to choose between pulling single and standard double shots.
The easy rocker switches on the front of the machine offer simple, reliable control over your shot, hot water and steam, making it great not only for prosumers, but for beginners as well. And since the steam wand swivels flexibly, steaming milk feels natural, no matter where you place the machine.
'E' And 'M' Models
The Rancilio Silvia V6 comes in two models. The 'E' machine features an auto cut off function that turns off the boiler after 30 minutes of inactivity, making it great for people who like to pull a few shots and then call it quits. The 'M' model requires you to manually turn off the boiler, which may be better if you like to make espresso periodically throughout the day.
The machine comes in two colors: full stainless steel and a matte black upper portion. But no matter which model / color you choose, you'll know you're getting one of the most respected and long-lasting home espresso machines on the market.

We understand that drinking great coffee is as important as being happy with the coffee gear you purchase to make it! In order to give you peace of mind when shopping with us we offer a hassle free returns and exchange policy so you can return any purchased item within 14 days from the date of your order. We can provide an Alternative Brewing store credit, refund or exchange for another item, where the returned item is subject to the following conditions:
The item is returned within 14 days from the date of your order.
Presents 'as new' in appearance, is unused and shows no signs of use, wear and tear or damage. We cannot accept a return for items that have been used.
Be packaged in its original undamaged packaging with all product tickets and tags.
The item's original packaging is not marked or used as the outer layer of packaging for transport. Please ensure you do not attach anything to the outside of the original packaging.
Alternative Brewing is not responsible for any freight charges on returned items unless the item(s) being returned have arrived damaged or faulty in which case we will send a pre-paid return label to send the item back.
Items being returned must include a copy of the receipt/invoice for the order.
We do not accept returns on any machines, electrical parts, special order items, gift cards, apparel, books, posters and DVDs. So please choose wisely.
Items returned with a value >$400 will be eligible for a store credit or exchange only.
All returns must be authorised by Alternative Brewing before sending the item back to us. Please contact one of our friendly Alternative Brewing Team Members for instructions to get the ball rolling and start the return process.
