Window Winder Function - a device used to open and close casement windows, awning windows, and other types of windows that open outward. It typically consists of a handle connected to a mechanism that controls the movement of the window sash.

• Remsafe Window Lock's innovative window winder includes a convenient, key-operated restrictor mechanism on the upper surface of the winder body. This unique feature allows a resident to alternate quickly and easily between the restricted window opening distance and the fully opened distance depending on their individual circumstances.

Features:

• Once locked in the restricted position the chain may be wound between the closed position and an opening distance of 12.5cm without the use of a key each and every time
• When it is safe to do so, the restrictor mechanism may also be unlocked with a key to allow the window to be fully extended and the window opened beyond the restricted position
• Restrictor mechanism conveniently positioned on upper surface of winder body to alternate easily between the restricted opening distance and the fully opened distance
