Description: The Rotosound RS88LD Tru Bass 88 strings were specifically designed by James How for Jim BurnsÂ’s famous Black Bison in 1962. These strings emulate the sound of an upright bass, offering a sound reminiscent of a double bass while being played as an electric bass. The magnetic stainless steel undercovers beneath the special black nylon tape provide a comfortable handling experience and compatibility with conventional amplifiers. The gauge for these strings ranges from 65 to 115.
