The strings are known for their bright and well-balanced tone, maintaining the same high quality over the years. Rotosound, founded by James How in the 1950s, utilizes advanced string-winding technology to ensure precision in production.
In addition to the phosphor-bronze round wound strings, Rotosound offers guitar strings designed with the wrap wire stopping short of the ball end, known as ‘Country Gold’. The gauges for both types of strings range from 060 to 018 for covered strings and 026 to 008 for plain strings.
