It will last a lifetime if you follow these simple procedures:
1. Fill until fluid begins to pool at the bottom of the hole.
2. Don??t over-tighten and damage plastic threads or an ??O?? ring.
3. Strike hard with the flat of the match against the magnesium rod.
4. A soaked wick can air out a few seconds for easy lighting.
5. Blow out a flame quickly before the fluid in the wick gets low.
6. A wicked low on fluid burns itself short and is harder to light.
7. Keep ample lighter fluid in the reservoir but wipe off spillage.
8. Warm it to body temperature before striking in cold weather.
Note:
1.Once the flame becomes weaker, you need to add a little lighter fluid to the canister. (The lighter fluid can be gas or kerosene, and neither of them is included in the package).
