Shelly EM Gen3 - Smart Energy Meter

The Shelly EM Gen3 is a compact, next-generation smart energy meter designed for precise monitoring of your electricity consumption. Using up to two current transformers (CTs) for contactless metering, it measures the energy usage of appliances or entire circuits and reports the data to your smartphone, tablet, PC, or home automation system.

With its built-in dry contact relay, you can also control external loads, such as a contactor, directly from the device. Whether you prefer a standalone local Wi-Fi setup or integration with cloud-based automation services, the Shelly EM Gen3 offers full flexibility. Data is stored locally on the device for up to 10 days of minute-by-minute records, ensuring no information is lost.

Thanks to its small form factor, it can be retrofitted into standard wall boxes, electrical cabinets, or tight spaces behind sockets and switches. The embedded web interface allows you to configure, monitor, and control the device from any browser.

The Shelly EM Gen3 has internal calibration that does not allow the use of a 120A CT. The maximum supported clamp is 50A. (Separate clamps are not yet available in our store.)
