SHIELD Carbon Granule Filter (GAC) made by HAYCARB coconut shell activated carbon. The adsorptive capacity of granular activated carbon makes it ideal for removing a variety of contaminants from water. Cartridges effectively reduce unwanted tastes and odors, including chlorine taste & odor from your drinking water. These filters were designed to allow maximum contact between the water and carbon, ensuring optimal adsorption. The construction of the cartridge allows water to enter at one end and pass through the entire length of the filter housing to the other end of the cartridge. GAC Cartridges are available in a variety of sizes, flow rates and connections/fittings, and effectively provide good general-purpose drinking water filtration.
