This universal adaptor for Smartfire is designed for units that do not have a replaceable sliding vent door like the Kamados do. The 'Dual Thread' variant adapter is designed in such a way that two methods can be used to connect the adaptor to your pit. To use the adaptor, simply insert the Smartfire controller into the machined female adapter end, which is of the same dimensions as other draft control units.
