Battle droids were oft used throughout the Clone Wars by the Confederacy of Independent Systems, forming the main infantry of the Separatists. Droids like the B1 battle droid worked best in swarms to overcome their enemy - in small groups they are much easier to defeat. Known for being dim-witted, they were easily taken down by clone troopers, who were able to think independently and creatively.
