Starlet explores the unlikely friendship between two opposites after a chance meeting at a garage sale in the San Fernando Valley. Jane, a seemingly vapid and aimless 21 year old actress, spends her time getting high with her room mates. Sadie, an 85 year old widow, passes her time at a dreary bingo parlour. Whilst worlds apart, their unlikely union is slowly explored as their personal secrets unravel.
