O is a talented photographer in her late twenties with a promising career before her. She is torn, however, between the financial realities of her work and her own artistic aims. Rene introduces her to the wealthy and powerful Stephen. Under his guidance, O is free to explore her own art, and slowly she unlocks the pleasures and pain of Stephen's secret desires.
