Inspired by satay - South-East Asian street snack composed of pieces of meat on a skewer grilled over a charcoal flame, finished with an aromatic peanut-based sauce made with a secret blend of spices.

The Wondersnack Co's version of this popular street snack is made using real ingredients and is based on a recipe from the tropical island of Bali.

The name comes from Wondersnacks assurance that "you'll never need to chase down another street cart again to satisfy your satay cravings"!

Founded by self-confessed snack-o-holic Christy Loekito, a former pastry cook, who found herself wanting when perusing the selection of savoury snacks available in shops.

Underwhelmed with the range of either heavily processed and full of additives, as in the case of chips, or simply plain and uninspiring snacks, Christy went about creating a range of snacks made only with ingredients found in the pantry using locally sourced, gourmet ingredients which pack as much flavour as possible in every bite.
