STP RJ45 SHIELDED CAT6 SNAP PLUG WITH COPPER STRIP - PACK OF 50
The T3 Snap Plugâ„¢ and Snap Plug Tool are designed to simplify the process of terminating RJ45 modular plugs. It is a time-consuming process to assemble traditional RJ45 modular plugs, and the most difficult part would be putting the wire into the conductor in the correct order. The thicker the conductor is, the more difficult the job is going to be.
The T3 Snap Plugâ„¢ enables the conductors to pass through the connector itself, making it a lot easier to verify wiring order before crimp, reducing possible errors and waste of materials, save time and effort on terminating RJ45 connectors.

These shielded snap plugs come with copper fabric strips for bonding the shielded ethernet cable. The copper fabric strips are on removable plastic sheets for easy handling. This bonding allows the connection hardware to drain off effectively those excess electromagnetic interference (EMI/RFI) and ESD (electrostatic discharge).
The steps for using the copper fabric strip are:
- Prepare the ethernet cable like normal.
- Remove the cable shield of the ethernet cable.
- Fold back and wrap the drain wire around the cable jacket.
- Bond the copper fabric strip to the cable jacket while securing the drain wire under it.
- Terminate the RJ45 plug like normal.

Note: You may have the ethernet cable specified CAT6 or CAT6A, because we found the cable conductors used are very different from different manufactures or brands, if you wantto make sure the snap plug works properly, please double-check the cable conductors' size is not larger than the size that the snap plug specified.
FAQ
Q: I have a Platinum Tools crimper EZRJPROHD that was designed for the Platinum Tools EZ connectors. Can I use this crimper on the T3 Snap Plug?
A: The T3 products are designed with tight tolerances to work perfectly together. Platinum Tools manufacture their EZplugs in the US as opposed to Taiwan, so their matching crimper is designed to work with just their connectors. Having said this, in our samples, the Platinum crimper stillworked with T3 connectors.
Below is a picture of the end result. Note the slight indentation (damage) on the T3 connector left by the Platinum Tools crimper. Please be aware, as the crimp tool is not designed for otherplugs, if you use it very often, your crimp tool will be worn out quickly.

No PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers
At this stage we only use couriers and can only deliver to a road-side address. This means PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers cannot be accepted as StarTrack do not deliver to these addresses.
In instances where a PO Box or Parcel Locker address in entered, we may ask for an alternative road-side address, or cancel and refund your order immediately and urge you to replace your order with an alternative delivery address.
Delivery times
We typically dispatch our goods same day or next day. From there, you can expect 2 - 8 business days Australia wide. Most capital cities can expect 1-2 day delivery times.
Any RTS (Return to Sender) orders due to missing or incorrect address information entered by the buyer may incur an additional charge for redelivery.
