Tannus Armour is quite unique and well designed with a foam insert made with patented multi-cell foam compound called Aither which is lightweight, flexible but still incredibly durable.

Sitting between your tyre and inner tube, the Tannus Armour tyre insert provides 15mm of puncture protection on the top of the tube, as well as 2mm of puncture protection on the sidewall as well. It softens the impact of the tube connecting with the rim, so no pinch flats. Yay!

Tannus Armour also provides additional protection to your rims during super hard hits so those jumps and drops are no longer an issue for your tyres. Due to the sidewall support Tannus Armour also prevents tyre buckling under heavy force through fast corners. This means you can run your tyre pressure considerably lower than you would for a standard tube set-up for that extra grip required.

For example, for City/Commuter/Gravel/Touring you can run your tyres at between 25-30 PSI and for gnarly off-road Mountain Biking you can run your tyres at between 15-20PSI
