The Blazing Mr Sam by Penhaligon's is a Woody Spicy fragrance for men. The Blazing Mr Sam was launched in 2018. Top notes are Cardamom and Cinnamon; middle notes are Black Pepper, Saffron and Cumin; base notes are Tobacco, Vanilla, Cedar and Patchouli. The Blazing Mister Sam belongs to the Penhaligon's Portrait collection and is inspired by an American aboard who lives fast, spends freely and speaks loudly. The fragrance opens with notes of cardamom and cinnamon before revealing a spicy heart and woody floral harmonies. The composition also includes cumin, saffron, black pepper, vanilla, patchouli, cedar and tobacco. Penhaligon's is a British perfumery established in 1870 by William Penhaligon. Originating as a barbershop, Penhaligon's offered its first fragrance in 1872, Hammam Bouquet. The fragrance was inspired by the neighboring Turkish Bath and its sulfurous steam. The company's best-selling fragrance, 1902's Blenheim Bouquet, created at the request of the Duke of Marlborough at Blenheim Palace, broke with the prevailing floral trends of its day to enchant with zesty citrus, spices and woods. Scents were issued regularly from the original shop on Jermyn Street, until it was destroyed in The Blitz of 1941. The shop disappeared, but the fragrances of the company endured, and in 1956, Penhaligon's was granted a Royal Warrant by the Duke of Edinburgh for the manufacturing of toiletries. Interest in the company was renewed with the opening of a new Penahligon's flagship store in Covent Gardens, in 1975. The flagship store represented a new direction for the company as well, with the old formulas composed by William Penahligon being resurrected, and new floral scents designed to appeal to a modern female customer. Chief among these was 1978's Bluebell, which remains a best-seller for the company today. The company was granted a second Royal Warrant in 1988, by the Princess of Wales. Many of the original scents created by William Penhaligon were modernized and re-introduced as part of the "Anthology Collection." The company maintains its commitment to fine, traditional perfume ingredients and techniques. The bottles for Penhaligon's scents are based on William Penhaligon's original design—clear glass and adorned with a ribbon. Penhaligon's today offers a line of bath and body care products and luxury shaving and grooming accessories to complement its fragrances. A number of stores are now open in London and elsewhere in the UK, and the products are also available through select stockists in the UK, North America and Europe. Please choose wisely as refunds for receiving what you purchased but simply changed your mind, found the product cheaper somewhere else, or decided you didn't like the purchase or had no use for it will not be refunded.

Exchanges can be organised within 20 days of receiving the item, but all shipping costs and price differences must be covered by the customer. Under the Australian Consumer law, you may have the right to return/exchange an item if you believe the item to be faulty. This right is not limited by a defined time frame.

When exchanging items, replacement items will be dispatched once original items are received back by The Perfume Warehouse. Items must be in original condition, including but not limited to all plastic seals and wrappers, labels, stickers, etc. for item to be exchanged. Once a perfume has been opened and/or sprayed all returns are strictly prohibited.

If you believe you have been sent an incorrect item, contact The Perfume Warehouse and they will rectify any possible mistakes. Do not, under any circumstances break the plastic seal or spray a perfume you believe to be the incorrect item. If this occurs, The Perfume Warehouse are unable to accept the return for health and safety reasons.

All items are dispatched unused, undamaged and in original condition. If there are any aesthetic imperfections on your item before being sent, you will be contacted by staff prior to dispatch.

If item has been broken during delivery, please keep all packaging, including the packaging it was sent in. The Perfume Warehouse will require images of the broken item and the relevant packaging. We may require you to take the entirety of the parcel, including what it was sent and wrapped in, to a post office for further inspection.

In the case that an item is faulty, The Perfume Warehouse may deem it necessary to send the item back to the manufacturer or their service agent for an assessment; this will be done promptly within a reasonable period. In this case, if the item is deemed faulty by the manufacturer you may then be given a refund or exchange, depending on the situation and judgement of The Perfume Warehouse.

If the item is damaged through misuse or abnormal use of the product, as defined by The Perfume Warehouse we will not provide a refund or exchange.

If The Perfume Warehouse finds that the product does not have a problem once sent back, we charge a 20% fee for collection and inspection costs. This will be made known to you before you ship the product.
