Waratah, also known as 'Waratah Dwarf Tomato', is a lovely dwarf variety that grows up to 100cm tall. It delivers a generous yield of flattened, small to mid-sized beefsteak tomatoes that weigh roughly 150-350g each and display a clear red colour and a fresh fruity flavour. The regular leaf plants have rugose dark green foliage and come from "the Plentiful family," and they were handpicked, developed, and named by Patrina Nuske Small. Waratah was first offered in 2016, and this variety produces oblate, smooth-skinned, red-coloured fruit. It has a mind-blowing flavour that is well-balanced, delicious, sweet, and fruity without the expected tart bite of a standard red tomato.
Sow spring & early summer at 5mm deep & 50cm apart. Germination in 5-12 days at 22-30oC. Maturity in 70 days. Determinate - Bush.
