Bright blue liqueur with a strong citrus orange flavour.

Add essence and 850ml Alcohol @ 40% to Still Spirits Liqueur Base "A" (made up as per Liqueur Base A instructions). Alternatively 200ml Sugar and 100ml Liquid Glucose. Top up to 1.125L with water. Gluten Free.

The Blue Margarita is a favorite summertime cocktail and it's incredibly easy to mix up. This fresh, brilliantly blue drink is also called the Moonlight Margarita or the Electric Margarita. By any name, it's a fantastic drink that you won't want to miss.

This popular recipe puts a simple twist on the Margarita. Essentially, all you're doing is using blue curaçao to replace the triple sec of the original recipe. Everything else remains the same, so you still get to enjoy a fresh, made-from-scratch Margarita, it just happens to have a beautiful, deep blue color.

What You'll Need

30mL Top Shelf Tequila
30mL Top Shelf Blue Curacao
30mL fresh lime juice fresh lime juice
Salt for rimming (optional)
Orange slice and cherry or lime wedge for garnish

How to Make It

If you like, rim a chilled margarita glass with salt.
Pour all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Shake well and pour everything into the prepared glass.
Garnish with a lime wedge or an orange slice and cherry.
