Those Tsukasa knives are forged with top quality Hitachi made Shirogami #1 (White Steel #1), which is a pure carbon steel with a high carbon content, making for an easy to sharpen knife that has great edge life too.
They are handled with really nice octagon shaped oak wood handles.
