Ugears Mini Locomotive is a simple, Easy-rated model thats perfect for first-time builders, including younger train enthusiasts. This rubber band-powered wooden traincomplete with locomotive and tenderpacks a surprising amount of energy into a compact design, travelling over 2 metres on a single wind-up. Its retro styling evokes the 1930s, capturing the charm of steam locomotives from a bygone era.
The model features a wind-up ratchet key, Start/Stop switch, and three paired wheels with connecting rods that set the train rolling across any flat surface. The open coal tender is great for carrying small items like a toy, note, or treat from one side of the room to the other.
To operate, set the On/Off switch to Off, turn the ratchet dial on the locomotive 67 times, place it on a flat surface, then flip the switch to On and release. A gear system transmits the motion to the wheels, and a flywheel helps regulate the trains acceleration. The rubber band motor can be rewound for repeated play, and the bands are easy to replace if needed.
No glue or special tools are required to build the Mini Locomotive. Just pop the laser-cut pieces out of the composite wood boards and snap them together using the illustrated instructions included in 11 languages. The model can be left in its natural finish or customised with paint or stain (not included). Sandpaper and wax are provided to smooth and lubricate the moving parts for optimal function.

CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS: In order for us to process a change of mind return you must make contact via email or phone within 7 days of receiving your order. Once your return request has been approved you must return the item in as-new condition, with all original packaging. Refunds are offered on the purchase value less the cost of shipping. Items received back not in as-new condition are processed at our discretion depending on the saleability of the item.
