This dock is great. I have inserted both 3.5” and 2.5” internal Sata hard drives into the dock. I was able to retrieve data and videos from both without hassle. When my computer crashed I was even able to use the old hard drive as a boot-up disc while it was inserted into the dock. The order of connection is important to ensure proper functioning.
