The 1lb bottle adapter is designed for use in tandom with the Boat Mounting Rack. The bottle needs to hang lower than the BBQ itself, so is not suitable for general table top cooking, unless you position the BBQ on the right-hand end of the table so the bottle can hang over the edge.
