Installed it to replace existing rigid spout at side of bath to avoid persons bumping it re injury or damage to spout. Had to dismantle & remove G1/2" connection-outlet pipe & cover plate on gamble that it would fit existing outlet pipe as I could not get such technical detail from seller. Great successful outcome!
