This 2 bike carrier from Yakima is one of the first to be made specifically for e-bikes, instead of being an all-purpose bike carrier that can carry e-bikes it's an e-bike carrier that can carry other types of bikes. There is a difference, and it shows in how they've designed and built this carrier.

The first noticeable design difference is the integrated loading ramp which is a game changer for anyone who owns an e-bike, you no longer need to be hitting the gym to build up the strength just to load your bike! Further to that, this integrated ramp represents about 100 dollars of value included in the purchase price, making this carrier all the more attractive.

The second notable feature is its heavyweight load capacity, with the ability to carry two bikes of up to 30kg each on-road, almost any modern e-bike can be accommodated. Bear in mind that if you're planning to go off-road with this carrier its load rating is reduced to 18kg per bike if carrying two bikes, for a total of 36kg maximum load off-road.

Adding to its flexibility, you can carry bikes with a wheelbase of up to 127cm with this carrier and tires with a maximum diameter of 29in and maximum width of 3.25in. This can be further expanded with the FatStrap kit (sold separately) which allows tire widths of up to 4.5in with a 27.5in wheel diameter.

This carrier also has a tilt feature even with bikes loaded to allow you ample access to the rear of your vehicle. When you're not using the OnRamp it will fold flat up against the back of your vehicle, out of the way.

Although your bikes are cradled on a platform on their wheels they are secured via their frames with cushioned clamps, please be aware this may mark your carbon frame with prolonged use.

It weighs in at 20kg so you might need a hand to insert the tongue into your hitch reciever, depending on your strength. Note that this carrier is designed to fit only 2in or 50mm hitch recievers. Please refer to the instructions for more details on installation.

Locks are built-in for both the bike and the rack, plus the keys can be matched to your existing Yakima products. You can key alike your Yakima products by purchasing lock cores separately. If you have any further questions about key matching please contact us for more information.

Returns and Change of Mind Policy:

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Warranty Statement:

RRGQ Pty Ltd T/a ROOF RACKS GALORE warrants that the goods will, under proper use, be free from defects due to faulty workmanship or materials for a period of 12 months from the date of installation or Delivery, whichever is later. This warranty is in addition to any non-excludable statutory warranty or guarantee that may be implied by law. For individual product warranty periods please refer to the product manufacturers website.
Where there is an alleged warranty issue, the Buyer must obtain the advice and approval of ROOF RACKS GALORE prior to carrying out any repairs. ROOF RACKS GALORE will, if it finds the goods to have a defect covered by this warranty, at its option, repair or replace the goods, or pay for the cost of the goods being repaired. The Buyer must, at its own cost and risk, once approved by ROOF RACKS GALORE, quarantine and hold the defective Product and, when instructed by ROOF RACKS GALORE, return, repair or destroy the Product.

Where the Buyer repairs or arranges for the repair of the Product after approval by ROOF RACKS GALORE to do so, the Buyer is solely responsible for ensuring that the goods meet ROOF RACKS GALORE compliance criteria and are safe and fit for purpose. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law these terms and conditions exclude all other conditions, guarantees, warranties, liabilities or representations in relation to the goods and/or services unless contained in a written warranty provided to the Buyer with the goods. Where legislation implies in these terms and conditions any condition or warranty that cannot be excluded or modified, to the extent permitted by law the liability of ROOF RACKS GALORE for a breach of any such condition or warranty is limited at ROOF RACKS GALORE option to any one or more of the following:
a.) In the case of goods:

replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods;
payment of the cost of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods, by credit to the Buyer’s account, in cash or by cheque at ROOF RACKS GALORE discretion; or
repayment of any part of the purchase price of the goods which has been paid by the Buyer, by credit to the Buyer’s account, in cash or by cheque at ROOF RACKS GALORE discretion.
b).In the case of advice, recommendations, information or services, by supplying the advice recommendations, information or services again.

ROOF RACKS GALORE is not liable for any loss or damage of any kind whatsoever and howsoever arising out of or in connection with the supply of goods and services, including (without limitation) any indirect or consequential loss (including without limitation loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of contract, loss of goodwill or increased cost of workings), arising out of or in connection with the supply of goods or services, even if due to the negligence of ROOF RACKS GALORE or any of its employees or agents. ROOF RACKS GALORE will not be liable for any act of war, strike, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, storm or other act of natural cause beyond its reasonable control.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
