It is recommended to choose shoes based on a size that is slightly larger than the actual foot to ensure comfort.

Place the paw on a piece of paper and press down on the top, mimicking how the paw spreads when the dog is walking, to measure the width and length.

Mark the left and right sides on the paper and measure the distance between the marks to get the width. The width of the paw should be smaller than the shoe size.

Mark from the longest toenail to the back of the paw to measure the length.
