Effetto TyreInvader 50 (x2) is a protective insert specifically designed for tubeless tyres. This lightweight and user-friendly product prevents pinch flats and shields your tyres and rims from harsh impacts, all while maintaining the natural behavior of your wheels. With various widths available, it can accommodate a range of wheel types, from cyclocross and gravel to plus-size.
Cyclists who ride aggressively on rough terrain often face a dilemma when deciding whether to reduce tyre pressure for better handling and grip. On one hand, lower tyre pressure can improve performance, but on the other hand, it can increase the risk of puncturing or damaging the tyre and rim. This is where tyre inserts, such as anti-pinch-flat inserts or tyre noodles, can provide a solution. These inserts are designed to fit inside tubeless tyres and absorb some of the impact, protecting both the tyre and rim. Our Tyreinvader is a simple and cost-effective option for this purpose, while also being lightweight. The weight listed is for uncut 29" wheels, but can be even lower when used with 27.5" or 26" wheels.
The nominal weight tolerance is +/- 5%, and the Tyreinvader is made of high density EVA, a closed cell polymer commonly used in the sports shoe industry. This material is highly durable and can withstand heavy impacts with minimal damage. We suggest checking the Tyreinvader at least once a year or after intense riding sessions, and replacing it if necessary. EVA's closed cell structure prevents any sealant from being absorbed, allowing it to freely move inside the tire cavity. Additionally, the cut-outs on the Tyreinvader allow for easy sealant movement, ensuring quick puncture repairs. Designed to fit snugly on rims, the Tyreinvader can function exceptionally in emergency situations, pushing the tire against the rim and allowing for short distances to be ridden on a flat.
