The Makita 18V Brushless Straight Shaft Line Trimmer Skin is a lightweight, powerful line trimmer that offers a maximum cutting width of 300mm. It can be used with Metal or Plastic cutting blades or nylon line without needing to change the guard. It also provides to ability to quickly change the cutting tool - the user can lock the spindle in place with the touch of a button rather than a tool. It features 3 stage speed control with a reverse switch, as well as Automatic Torque Drive technology allowing the motor to increase when under load. Automatic Torque Drive Technology when the trimmer encounters thick grass or weeds, the rpm of the motor will increase to get through efficiently
Universal Cutting Guard one guard is suitable for use with nylon line, metal or plastic cutting blades
