The battery grip for the Panasonic GH5 allows increased flexibility for GH5 users.
Allowing the addition of extra batteries, greatly increases the length of time that one can shoot on the GH5 - this is especially important when using accessories that draw extra power from the camera battery, like the Panasonic XLR1 audio adapter unit. Extend shooting time and enjoy a more comfortable grip with vertical compositions with the Panasonic DMW-BGGH5 Battery Grip for the Lumix DC-GH5 mirrorless camera.

In addition to its battery capabilities, the grip also allows for better ergonomics when taking photos in portrait orientation. Adding a number of extra physical buttons and dials, the grip also includes a joystick that controls AF position, and menu navigation or can be assigned as multiple customizable function buttons. This allows for all important buttons and functions to be accessible when holding the camera in portrait orientation. It holds a DMW-BLF19 battery and the one stored in the camera body, effectively doubling the battery life.
