The R240RC smoke alarm is approved and certified to meet AS3786:2014 and fully complies with the Queensland 2022 smoke alarm legislation.
When the Red RF wireless base is used with this alarm, the Red Smoke Alarm Controller can connect wirelessly to this smoke alarm.
Can only be connected to the 240v RAC240 smoke alarm controller if you install the R240ACB isolating Base to the 240v alarm.

The new QLD smoke alarm legislation starts on January 1st 2022, All properties leased or sold in Queensland must be fitted with photoelectric, interconnected smoke alarms in all bedrooms of the home as well as hallways or between areas containing bedrooms and on each storey of the dwelling.
