This strong non-allergenic, non-toxic wood is usually supplied as standard in high-end sauna cabin lines due to its longevity and resistance to warping and cracking.

Far Infrared Heating

The infrared heat from our infrared sauna is designed to be absorbed by the human body quickly. A maximum temperature of 60°C can be achieved at an ambient temperature of 25°C. Far infrared heat gently warms the body and creates a comfortable environment to help you unwind.

Why Carbon Fibre Heating

Carbon fibre provides an effective way of delivering infrared therapy; this new carbon fibre technology allows the heat to be distributed evenly through a large flat panel. The large heating surface allows the heat to be dispersed up to 10 times more effectively than the more traditional far infrared heating elements since the carbon heaters cover a much larger area, equating to more infrared rays into your body. Infrared saunas have anywhere between 1 to 14 heating panels to deliver the heat; when comparing saunas, it is essential to factor in the number of panels the sauna has and where they are placed. The Tumma features six strategically placed large carbon fibre panels for even heat distribution. Ideally, heating panels should surround you, including behind, in front, on the sides, and on the calves and feet. The Tumma 2-person sauna cabin achieves this.
