Poeme by Lancome is the design houses' 30th perfume marked the brand's 60th anniversary. Poeme shows a serene femininity with its ode to sensitive, uninhibited, radiant and cheerful women. This opulent bouquet of mainly yellow flowers, evokes a joyful and sunny world. The brand declares that in poetry, as in love, emotion is often produced by surprise. That is why the carefully-constructed notes echo each other. It took three years to develop the fragrance. Top notes include Himalayan blue poppy, blackcurrant, mandarin, peach, bergamot, green notes, plum, narcissus, Datura flower and jonquil, with heart notes of mimosa, vanilla flower, orange blossom, freesia, jasmine, tuberose, rose, ylang-ylang, heliotrope and leather. Dry down notes combine vanilla, tonka bean, amber, musk and cedar. It is recommended for evening wear.
