Indoor timer-controlled switches are a great way to save time and money. Connected Switchgear’s electronic time delay switches come with a host of useful features for a wider variety of applications. They are great for bathrooms, pantries, stairways and walk-in robes. Our latest 240V AC electronic time delay switch boasts a full 2400W power rating and comes with a unique load current limiting circuitry that prevents overload of capacitance luminaires and inductive loads that would normally reduce the life of electronic switch contacts.

Connected Switchgear’s new electronic time delay switch is the first time delay switch that can be installed in both 2 and 3-wire configurations.

• Installed in the basic 2-wire mode without a neutral connection requires a minimum load of just 5W to operate. Choosing to install a 3-wire connection with a neutral terminal will eliminate any load-type restrictions.

CSG’s electronic time delay can be set to 1 to 3 different program types:

• TYPE A - Start/Restart Time out period selected will commence countdown when the button in pressed. In the event that the button is pressed again prior to the preset time out, the program will recommence timing again.
• TYPE B - Start/Stop Time out period selected will commence countdown when the button has is pressed from the ‘OFF’ position. Once the programmed timing is running and the button is pressed again, the programmed timing will stop and power off the switch.
• TYPE C - Start/Run On/Stop Can only be performed when the Type C Wiring Diagram is installed (Refer to Fig 4) and the Program Type is set to B. In this setting, the device performs a run-on-timer mode. Press the button once the load is turned on for maximum two hours. Pressing the button a second time commences the configured run-on timer setting. Pressing the button a third time turns the load off.
• Note: Additional switching points cannot be used with Type C operation.

A total of 8 pre-defined ‘time out’ times ranging from 30 seconds to 480 minutes can be easily selected. Simply remove the front cover plate and select the corresponding toggles. Three function modes are available. These are repeat time out, turn off and run on timer.

The Red LED Indicator allows for visual identification of the switch in dimly lit areas. They also flash when the time setting has been actuated and the set time has begun the countdown.
