Delivery Information
We know you want your candles ASAP (we would too). All Don't Eat My Candle orders are packed with care and shipped from our Melbourne warehouse within 1–2 business days.
We offer flat rate Standard Shipping across Australia for $13, with estimated delivery timeframes of 2–6 business days after dispatch.
Signature on Delivery
All orders are shipped with signature required to ensure your candles arrive safely and don’t end up with the neighbour’s dog. If you’d prefer your parcel left without a signature, just let us know before dispatch. Please note, in that case, we can’t take responsibility for lost or stolen deliveries. No refunds or replacements will be issued for authority-to-leave deliveries that go missing.
If your item is marked as Return to Sender due to incorrect address or non-collection, re-delivery fees will apply.
Warranty & Return Policy
At Don’t Eat My Candle, we want every customer to fall in love at first sniff... but we understand that sometimes things don’t work out.
We accept returns for change of mind under the following conditions:
Change of Mind Returns
Returns must be requested within 8 days of receiving your order.
Products must be unused, unlit, and in their original packaging (including all tags, stickers, and boxes).
Items must be returned in resalable condition. Candles that are scratched, used, damaged, or show signs of wear (e.g. melted wax, soot marks, wick trimming, etc.) will not be accepted.
Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense, and we recommend using a trackable service.
Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your candle arrives broken or you’ve received the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the product and packaging. We’ll organise a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.
Remedies & Resolution
If a product is eligible for return, we will process a refund to your original payment method. Refunds will be processed within 7 business days of receiving your return and confirming it meets our policy conditions.
Packaging Reminder
Returned candles must be securely packaged to avoid damage in transit. We are unable to issue refunds for items that are returned damaged due to inadequate packaging.
