Delivery Costs

  • Flat-rate shipping applies across Australia. Exact cost is calculated based on your order weight, size, and destination, and displayed at checkout.

  • Free delivery promotions may apply to orders exceeding a specified threshold; in such cases, the cost waiver will appear automatically at checkout.


  1. Delivery Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Please ensure the delivery address is accurate and accessible. Genex cannot be held responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses, inaccessible entryways, or locked properties.

  • Access considerations: Please note any staircases, narrow corridors, or ground-floor restrictions in your order notes so we can plan accordingly.

  • Recipient must inspect delivery: Please visually inspect your items upon arrival. Any visible damage or missing parts should be noted on the delivery docket and reported to Genex as soon as possible.


  1. What Happens If No One’s Home?

If you’re unavailable at the agreed delivery time:

  • A re-delivery attempt will be arranged, which may incur a fee.

  • Alternatively, you may choose to pick up the item from your local depot or arrange drop-off with a neighbor or building concierge.

  • We’ll notify you of your options via call or email.


  1. What if the Item is Damaged or Missing Parts?

  • Visible damage: Please note on the carrier’s docket immediately and report to Genex.

  • Concealed damage or missing parts: Photograph the damaged item and packaging, and email or call us.

  • We will arrange for a replacement item or part, or offer a delivery for repairs, as appropriate.

  2. Warranty Information

Genex Australia warrants all furniture products for 12 months from the date of delivery. Some items may be supplied with an extended warranty, as detailed on the individual product page or as required under the Australian Consumer Law.

We are committed to delivering products of the highest quality. If an issue arises with your purchase, we will assist promptly. Should a product be confirmed as faulty, Genex Australia will arrange for a repair or replacement. If a repair or replacement is not available, a store credit or refund may be provided. Warranty claims must be accompanied by valid proof of purchase.

  • 12-month standard warranty covering fabric, stitching, and pillow-back cushions

  • 10-year warranty on frame and structural foundation

  • 3-year warranty on seat cushion construction

Please note: General wear, pilling, fading, and colour variation are not covered under warranty.
