Just like other reviews say, comfortable straight out of the box. Did a 10k up & down Mountain hike on the first wear. Feet were still comforatable & cool at the end. Grip well on rock and dirt. Laces didn't loosen or untie. Really are the best bang for your buck hiking shoe!

I have worn Merrell Moab 3 for 4 years,mid height,the low ones I bought are just as comfortable

A bit too hard... not flexible enough. Would have liked the shoe to be a bit lighter in weight. Appears to be well made though
