McWilliam's Redvale Chardonnay - The grapes used to craft McWilliam's Redvale Chardonnay were harvested, drained, crushed and pressed off skins. A portion of the juice was wild fermented, prior to fermentation on French oak and stirring on yeast lees, to develop a creamy texture. This process resulted in the creation of a pale straw coloured wine showing a yellow haze. The fragrant bouquet offers lively aromas of stone fruit, white nectarine, peach and green apple, with subtle oak and nutty characters lurking in the background. This delightful Chardonnay is lush and intense on the palate, filled with fresh fruit flavours supported by a firm oak and acid balance. These elements fuse together, providing a creamy mouthfeel as well as a delicate and lengthy finish.
