Previous Vintage 93 Point Rated Gold Medal Winning Sauv Blanc
Why to buy
Tasting Notes
Vibrant straw to lime green in colour. Lifted aromas of gooseberry, pineapple, lemon and lime with freshly cut grass notes. The palate displays tropical notes with an allure of passion fruit, lime, melon and a touch of lemon with crisp natural fruit acidity.
Technical Notes
Sourced from vineyards across South Australia. Harvested at the cool of night before being transported to the winery then we crushed the fruit quickly to separate the clear juice from the skins. We used specific yeast for Sauvignon Blanc and after a cool fermentation the wine was carefully filtered and bottled to retain all the appealing fruit flavours.

Great wine

I very rarely buy a dozen bottles at a time when it is something I haven’t had before. However in this case I am very happy I did. I like the fact it isn’t sweet, as some Sauvignon Blanc, it has a lovely fruity taste and has a dry finish. I definitely would recommend this wine.

As with the Normans Bin C163 Limestone Coast Shiraz from one of my favourite wine growing regions, this 1838 Reserve Sauvignon Blanc was also a superb wine. Both were great wines, delivered promptly and great value for money!
