The 2016 Falco Advanced uses our new flagship R2 double butted alloy road racing frame with internal cable routing and a compact 10-speed Shimano groupset. This gives outstanding performance and reliability at an unbeatable price. The 6061 alloy frame is lightweight, with a balance of vertical compliance and lateral stiffness for excellent on-road handling. The carbon fibre fork lowers weight and further reduces road buzz, ideal for endurance riding.
Shimano 105 derailleurs and shifters give crisp shifting performance. The Shimano Tiagra chain and cassette offer excellent durability without sacrificing performance. The Shimano 565 compact crankset gives a wider range of gearing than a conventional crankset, so you can tackle the hills and headwinds with ease, but still have the top gear necessary to hammer home on the sprints. The Alex Rims are tough and light. Laced to Quando quick-release hubs with stainless steel spokes and Continental UltraSport II puncture protected tyres, this wheelset gives you the low rotating mass and excellent durability you need to smash out some serious kilometres.
