Canadian Club Whisky & Dry is a premixed drink from Canada. It is made with Canadian Club whisky and dry vermouth, and is served over ice.
Canadian Club was founded in 1858 by Hiram Walker, and is the oldest continuously produced Canadian whisky. The company was originally based in Walkerville, Ontario (now part of Windsor). Canadian Club whiskies are distilled in Ontario and aged in oak barrels.
The Canadian Club brand was introduced to the United States in 1869, and became very popular during Prohibition, when it was smuggled into the country from Canada. Today, Canadian Club is distributed internationally and is a top-selling whisky in Canada.
