It wasn’t harsh then, meaning workers didn’t need gloves to protect their skin when using our cleansers. Same goes for today.

Suggested Use
Use Charlie's Soap Indoor & Outdoor Surface Cleaner for the toughest indoor dirt: mildew stains, carpet stains, or grease under the stove hood. Remember our surface cleaner is concentrated, so use it sparingly. Spray on and let it sit for a few minutes to gently lift tough dirt, then wipe off with a clean rag or paper towel.
Works similarly outside on things like oily engines, greasy grills and pet areas where a hand-held bottle is more appropriate than a bucket. Hose off to rinse thoroughly.
Environmentally Safe Natural Indoor& Outdoor Surface Cleaner 32oz Product Details
- NON-TOXIC – Though strong, it is biodegradable, safe and hypoallergenic. No lye, abrasives or bleach. Safe on any washable surface.
- BE PATIENT – You want a cleaner like this to separate soil from a surface gently. Otherwise, you’d buy a chemical made of ingredients you can’t pronounce. Let Charlie’s remain on the surface for as long as 30 minutes. Then wipe off.
Dilution Suggestion
Charlie's Soap Indoor/Outdoor is good for 1,001 uses. Charlie's Soap was made to gently remove grease and grime, not blast it off. Give Charlie's Soap a bit of time on the surface, scrub as needed, then rinse thoroughly.
Animals: 1/4 cup in a 5-gal bucket. Lather and rinse.
Bicycles: Full strength. Spray, scrub and rinse.
Carpets: Full strength spot clean. 1/4 cup per gallon in carpet cleaning machine.
Floors: 1% strength for mopping.
Hiking/Camping gear: Full strength. Spray, scrub and rinse. Spray again and leave unrinsed to prevent rust during storage.
Home siding: 50% strength. Spray, wait, scrub with brush or pressure wash to rinse.
Driveways: Full strength spot clean. Spray, wait, scrub and rinse.
Home interiors: For use on surfaces you can rinse liberally. Use 50% to full strength. Spray, wait, scrub and rinse.
