The original Elementum was a straightforward and highly practical folding knife, designed for utility rather than self-defense. While it was too compact for defensive use, it excelled as an everyday carry (EDC) blade and was considered one of CIVIVI's best offerings. Its strengths lay in its slim, ergonomic handle, which provided a comfortable grip without any uncomfortable spots during use. The design was utilitarian and functional, featuring a drop-point blade that seamlessly transitioned into the ergonomic handle, offering a natural fit in the hand. The textured scales ensured a secure grip, and the deep carry clip kept it firmly attached to your pocket for easy carry.
However, some users wished for a slightly larger and more versatile version for utility and tactical purposes, leading to the introduction of the Fixed Blade Elementum. In this updated design, CIVIVI extended the blade by a full inch and the handle by half an inch while maintaining its classic shape. The flipper tab was retained as a finger guard, and the handle's contoured, teardrop shape remained exceptionally comfortable. The blade featured a high hollow grind for sharpness and strength, including a robust spine and tip.
To facilitate belt carry, a simple black leather button sheath was included, and CIVIVI pre-attached a paracord lanyard to the knife for added convenience.
