The TPDL1C1 is discontinued - the current model is TPDL1C2  - Tri colour. They come with a plug - so they should be a DIY - if the original downlight was plugged into a surface socket. To choose the colour you prefer, adjust the switch and choose from warm white, natural or Daylight.
