Most of us are familiar with the way that ordinary magnets attract and repel each other, but the Skill Flux takes a step further down the rabbit hole of stuff that you probably didn't pay attention to in school! The materials inside the metal tube cause electric "eddy currents" to circulate (demonstrating Faraday's Law of induction), then when the magnetic ball is dropped into the tube, a powerful magnetic field is created inside the tube which slows down and stops the falling ball. This is due to Lenz's Law and for real it feels like magic!
