Fujifilm XC 35mm F/2 Lens
The Fujifilm XC 35mm f2 lens is a portable and travel-friendly prime lens, which won’t break the bank but will do an admirable job when trusted with your everyday photos. The lens features a walkaround friendly 53mm equivalent focal length and bright f2 maximum aperture. Sharp foregrounds and blurry backgrounds are easy to produce, while the lens shoots brilliantly in low-light scenarios, particularly when paired with the low-light monsters that make up the X-series.
A fast and near-silent stepping AF system can be found in this Fujifilm prime lens, which will benefit shooters of both stills and videos. The lens focus design is internal, so the 35mm f2 maintains its compact profile when in use. The lens does not feature an aperture ring like some others in the Fuji Mirrorless range, so it is suited to a simplified auto-style, which is a good fit for travel photography and high-quality snapshots.
Despite a compact and streamlined design, Fuji has assured the image quality produced by this lens is not lacking. A pair of Aspherical elements are present in the design, reducing distortions and aberrations and rendering images sharp and detailed in a host of shooting conditions.
The FUJINON XC35mmF2 lens gives an equivalent of 52mm on a 35mm format. Weighing just 130g and measuring 46.5mm in length, this new prime lens has nine elements including two aspherical lens elements in six groups, producing sharp and crisp images. AF operation is quick and near silent thanks to the use of an internal focus system*1, which uses a stepping motor*2, making it drive the focus lens elements fast and accurately. The lens produces creamy bokeh while offering excellent portability and high-speed AF.
