Heritage Standard H-150 Solid Electric Guitar w/Case Dirty Lemon Burst Made USA

Heritage Standard H-150 Solid Electric Guitar w/Case Dirty Lemon Burst Made USA

The H-150 was conceived in Kalamazoo during the 1950s. The guitar features a solid carved figured maple top sourced from Michigan, a solid one-piece genuine mahogany back, and a genuine mahogany neck that features beautiful mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. The solid wood construction (non-weight relieved) means maximum sustain and tone, while the thick figured maple top reflects sound pressure.

The H-150 comes with Seymour Duncan 59 humbuckers. They provide a warm, thick tone and are wax potted that allows for minimal microphonic feedback. So whether you’re jamming in a basement or performing in arenas, they are great and suitable for playing nearly every genre.

All in all, the H-150 is perfect for someone looking a guitar with loads of sustain, a familiar feel, and a warm, thick tone, and is a must-have addition to every guitarist’s arsenal.

IT ALL STARTED WITH A MANDOLIN

In the late 1800s, Orville Gibson arrived in Kalamazoo and began designing his own range of mandolins. Over time his company grew to become one of the world’s premier musical instrument manufacturers. Some of the world's finest guitars were built at 225 Parsons Street from 1917 to 1984.

TRUE TO TRADITION

Some of the former senior employees wanted to continue the tradition of handcrafting beautiful, high quality electric guitars in Kalamazoo. In the spring of 1985, they bought space at the iconic factory, much of the original guitar-making equipment, and the rest is history.

HISTORY MEETS EXPERIENCE

Jim Deurloo, Marv Lamb, and JP Moats (the founders of Heritage) had a combined total of 84 years of guitar-building experience when the company began. In time, Bill Paige and Mike Korpak joined as co-owners. Today, Jim, Marv, and Bill are still active in the daily business and their wealth of knowledge continues to live through our next generation of luthiers.

BUILT LIKE NO OTHER

We introduced our first Heritage guitar, the H-140 solid body single cutaway electric guitar, at the 1985 NAMM show in New Orleans. Over the years, we have built a small array of various instruments. We now focus exclusively on making the world’s greatest hollow, semi-hollow, and solid body electric guitars.
