A Windows Embedded 7 operating system is pre-installed on the HP Flexible Thin Client t510, which optimally supports various applications. This makes the system suitable for both initial equipment and expansion. A fully functional browser and current protocols are of course also supported. For configuration, you can use the HP Device Manager Tool, for example, which enables complete setup with just a few clicks.
HP has integrated a VIA Eden X2 U4200 dual-core processor with 1 GHz clock frequency and the VIA VX900 chipset into the Flexible Thin Client t510. 4GB of DDR3 memory is also included, providing enough performance to work effortlessly with the system. Since the operating system is installed on a 16 GB flash memory, it starts up in a few seconds. A special feature is the included VIA ChromotionHD 2.0 graphics processor, as the HP Flexible Thin Client t510 thus supports dual monitor operation. Simply connect your monitors via VGA and DVI to use a large work surface for your content. If required, you can also use a PCIe-Half-Mini expansion card.
The power supply required for operation is included with the HP Flexible Thin Client t510. The device also offers various interfaces for accessories. These include six USB 2.0 ports, PS/2 sockets for mouse and keyboard, as well as serial and parallel ports. The network connection can easily be done with the Gigabit LAN Controller, which supports Wake on LAN (WoL) and PXE as usual for business systems.
